Locombia - Teatro de Andanzas Company is known in Latin America for its search and its contributions to the expression of the non-verbal theater. Its source of inspiration is the poetical realism of the daily life and the imagination weaved in the traditions of our planet.

Through its theatric parts, the group shows a full world of imagination of visual poetry, impregnated of a cool mood of the nonsense. Defined for proper them as "a critical and nutritional mood".

The Company was born in 1981, in Barranquilla, Colombia and has been, to the long one of these years, in the search of new ways in the art of the mimic one, in the theater in non-conventional places and the theatric dance. In this search, the group adopted a trip for the different cultures of the world as life philosophy.

Locombia has participated in national and international festivals in many countries: Colombia, Equator, Peru, Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay, Venezuela, Costa Rica, Mexico, Canada, Holland, Germany, Belgium, Italy, Switzerland, Slovenia, Hungary, Sweden, Denmark, India, Nepal, Tibet and Mozambique, having lived five years in India, learning the Odissi Classic Dance and Music, in the Orissa region.

Currently inhabiting in Brazil, Locombia - Teatro de Andanzas is integrated by Beatriz Brooks, Orlando Moreno and Shanti Sai.
